Hello, voter! Below, find everything you need to know to make your voice heard — including how to register, update your registration, get a mail ballot, vote early, and vote on Election Day.
How to vote by mail: All Pennsylvania voters can apply for a mail-in ballot, no reason required.
- Request your mail ballot by October 27 at 5:00 pm (request online or at your county election office)
- Your completed ballot must be received by Election Day, November 3, at 8:00 pm
Many more voters are expected to use mail ballots this year, so be sure to leave yourself plenty of time to receive and return your ballot! You can also return your ballot to a drop-off site.
Other ways to vote: On Election Day, November 3, polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. If you are voting for the first time in your precinct, you’ll need to show an ID like your registration confirmation, utility bill, or driver’s license. (See the complete list below.)
