Hello, voter! Below, find everything you need to know to make your voice heard — including how to register, update your registration, get a mail ballot, vote early, and vote on Election Day.
Registering to vote: You can register (or update your registration) online with a state ID. The deadline to update your registration online is October 4. You can also check here to see whether your registration is up to date.
How to vote by mail: All Alaska voters can vote by mail, no excuse or reason required. The deadline to request your ballot is October 24, but you should request your ballot as soon as possible. You can update your registration at the same time you request your ballot!
Fill out and return your ballot as soon as possible! It must be postmarked by November 3 to be counted. There are also dropboxes in Fairbanks, Soldotna, Anchorage, and Wasilla.
Other ways to vote: Early, in-person voting begins in Alaska on October 19. Early voting locations and hours will be posted here about one month before election day.
On Election Day, polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Find your polling place by using the My Voter Information tool.
